How do I sync with a supplier inventory feed or 3PL inventory feed?

A warehouse in SKULabs can be set up to track your supplier inventory, your FBA inventory, or your 3PL inventory.

Supplier Inventory

Within each supplier is a "supplier warehouse" setting where you can link a warehouse that will be used to store that supplier's inventory levels. You can import inventory levels by CSV using the inventory import and specifying that warehouse's name. If you'd like to configure automatic sync with your supplier's FTP/HTTP/CSV/Spreadsheet please contact support and request a "supplier inventory feed inquiry" along with a link to this article. In most cases, your supplier inventory feed can be connected free of charge.

FBA Inventory

After you connect your Amazon store, you can go to your warehouses tab and add a warehouse to track your FBA inventory. This will automatically sync out of the box.

3PL Inventory

In many cases, automatic sync with your 3PL's FTP/HTTP/CSV/Spreadsheet inventory feed can be connected to SKULabs free of charge. Please contact support and request a "3PL inventory feed inquiry" along with a link to this article.

1. Create a supplier that will represent your external inventory partner.

2. Create any and all items you want to track inventory for in SKULabs.

3. Add the items to your supplier's catalog. Make sure the MPN on supplier items matches the SKU/UPC your supplier uses.

4. Create a warehouse in SKULabs that will be used to receive this inventory. If you've already created one, just let us know which to use.

IMPORTANT!

5. YOU MUST Assign the items to the warehouse from step 4. This allows the 3PL feed to sync inventory from their stocks to your warehouse.

Forgetting this step can lead to discrepancies.

6. Inside your supplier, click on Actions > Add supplier feed link

7. After saving, open again Actions > Add supplier feed link. You will see a hyper link to configure the scheduled automation to configure the frequency for the feed link "0 automations configured for this supplier.". Click on it!

8. You will be redirected to the Scheduled Automations page, click Add and configure the best frequency that fits your flow.

9. If you have any issues with the steps above, please contact support and request a "3PL inventory feed inquiry" along with a link to the inventory feed that will be used to read stock quantities, its file type, and any needed credentials and we will help you set this up.
